Robyn Van Rooye is Manager of Training for Dawsons Training- part of the Dawsons Group of Companies, involved in the provision of Engineering services, Construction, Labour hire, Mine maintenance and Asbestos & Demolition.
Working under partnerships, Robyn and her team have built Dawson's training business over the past two years concentrating particularly on Generic Induction programs, Confined Space/ Working At Heights courses and High Risk Licences applicable to the mining and resource industries. Under her direction Robyn is about to take the business to RTO status.
Robyn's current involvement in training in the engineering and resources industry is a natural extension of her previous employment as Regional Manager of Queensland Apprenticeship Services, Business Development Manager for Cairns Region Group Training and Corporate Planner for Cairns Regional Council.
Passionate about training and development, Robyn is an open communicator with a relaxed down to earth style that allows her to relate to people of all ages and from all walks of life. Her strength is her ability to pass on the value of learning and development to people and inspire them to make the most of training and career opportunities.
