Andrew has been involved in the mining/civil tunneling industry since graduating from the Camborne School of Mines in 1986 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining.
He holds First Class Mine Managers Certificates of Competency for Queensland and Western Australia and has worked in senior management positions for consultant, contracting and mining companies.
Andrew lived in Chillagoe FNQ for his first three and a half years whilst working for Kagara and was president of the Chillagoe Alliance and a volunteer SES/ambulance driver.
His current role as acting Chief Operating Officer makes him responsible for the performance of all the company’s operations. Andrew usually manages projects and studies for Kagara in both Queensland and Western Australia.
