Brett Duck is a geologist of over 40 years experience in exploration and mining throughout Australia, PNG, Solomon Islands, Malaysia and South Africa. He has been based in North Queensland for 31 years, of which 25 have been in Cairns with 14 years Fly in Fly Out to PNG. His time in PNG included 7 years on Lihir of which two years were as Site Manager followed by 6 years at Tolukuma.

His Company has also been the only tin and tungsten buyer exporting Internationally from Townsville, when those metals have been produced in the last 5 years in FNQ.

Brett is a strong advocate for the expansion of the exploration and mining industry in Far North Queensland that can increase job availability, diversification and increased economic stability.
