Charlie Casa is the Area Operations Manager Tablelands with Ergon Energy. Charlie commenced his career in the electricity industry with an electrical apprenticeship working for the Far North Queensland Electricity Board in Mareeba in 1986.
After a number of years working in various leadership roles Charlie was appointed to the role of Area Operations Manager Tablelands in 2000.
The Tablelands Operational Area covers approximately 360,000 square Kilometres of Northern Queensland. The area encompasses the communities north of Cairns including Cape York, the Torres Strait Islands, the Atherton Tablelands and communities through the Gulf of Carpentaria. It includes nine operational depots and twenty-seven isolated generation sites in the area.
